The largest animal to live – Whales

Think of the largest animal in the world. If you’re thinking about dinosaurs🦕 then you’re absolutely WRONG!!!😄
The answer is whales.🐳 It is the largest animal that has ever existed, even larger than the largest dinosaur ever found.
A whale is a large mammal that lives in the ocean.🌊 Mammals are warm-blooded animals that have babies who drink their mother’s milk to survive.
Just like us, whales have lungs. They breathe through the blowholes at the top of their head instead of a nose.😮
They can’t nap😴 for too long because they have to come up for air, the way we do when we swim. But whales can stay in water for a longer duration, as long as 35 minutes.😳
Fun Facts
👉 The Blue whale is the largest animal in the world. Its tongue weighs as much as an elephant🐘 and its heart is the size of a car!!!🤯
👉 While whales are huge but not all of them are gigantic. The dwarf sperm whale is the smallest of all the whale species. They grow up to 2.7 meters, that’s still taller than a tall human being.😁
👉 To rest, whales let only one-half of the brain🧠 sleep at a time, so they remember to breathe, otherwise, they would drown. After some time, the half which was awake, sleep and the one that was sleeping, start working.
👉 Did you know that whale’s vomit is considered as floating gold?😱 Well, apparently whale’s vomit is used in making perfumes and it is extremely rare. Therefore, it is very expensive and valuable.💰
